how update 3.1.3 to 4.1

I have a similar problem, I can't find a away to activate my iPhone 3GS 4.0.2!!
I was running 3.1.3...I did a restore to 4.0.2...I have all the tools I have to make it run again...nothin just work to activate it!!
tried Redsn0w and Sn0wbreeze (latest) they both fail to identify any IPSW below 4.1!
any help?

We don't support sn0wbreeze here. Search for the forum for threads that explain why.

Redsn0w cannot jailbreak and hacktivate a 3GS running 3.1.3 4.0, 4.0.1 or 4.0.2

Use (maybe) greenpois0n or limera1n to jailbreak/hacktivate 4.0.2 on a 3GS

Or, borrow a mac and use PwnageTool 4.1.2 - that is actually my primary recommendation.
