Default How to fix push notifications (4.1) Modern Firmware (06.15.00) iPhone 3GS?

Hi. I am on the T-Mobile network and I have an iPhone 3GS. I am on version 4.1 with 06.15.00 firmware. My push notifications are not working and ideally, I would like for this feature to function properly. I've read about people installing Push Doctor on their phone and it messed up their unlock. Can someone please help on correcting this feature? This is the only feature that is not working properly on my iPhone. Thank You so much!

I don't know about Push Doctor impacting people's unlocks, but there's another method you can use to generate proper activation tokens and push certificates -- google "SAM Subscriber Artificial Module". You'll need to use it (or redsn0w) to revert your lockdownd to stock, then use SAM to enter the information about your SIM card. You'll then be able to use iTunes to activate the device, and that should fix your push notification issues, as well as allow FaceTime/iMessage (though since you're on iOS 4 you won't have iMessage, and since you're on a 3GS, you don't have the front camera for Facetime, but it would fix those issues if you had them. )

Your best solution would be to order a sim card, use it to activate you iphone through iTunes, will give you push notifications... with no problems
