Help! Unable to restore iPhone 4, iTunes error code 10
Unable to restore iPhone 4, femewere 4.2.1, when restoring with iTunes 10.0.1.22, I get the error code 10 or see below;
"2011-01-27 13:25:34.466 [1236:29c]: unexpected data type 'BasebandData' in data request message
2011-01-27 13:25:34.466 [1236:29c]: AMRAuthInstallDeletePersonalizedBundle
2011-01-27 13:25:34.606 [1236:29c]: removed personalized bundle
2011-01-27 13:25:34.606 [1236:29c]: <Restore Device 0F766FC0>: Restore failed (result = 10)
2011-01-27 13:25:35.013 [1236:8c0]: iTunes: Restore error 10"
Am running both xp pro and win 7 extream, unfortunately I don't have the 'shsh' codes!
If anyone can provide me with more information or away round this error, it would be very much appreciated.

You have a crashed/corrupted baseband stack. That likely means your baseband is corrupted or there is a hardware problem with your baseband chip. Get it replaced under warranty by Apple as soon as possible.
If you need to reinstall the OS to remove traces of jailbreak, i have previously posted about an unofficial pwnagetool bundle for iPhone 4 / 4.2.1 that disables the baseband update part of the restore but doesn't actually jailbreak your phone.

error 10 itunes-please help
hi i am using itunes 10.0.1.22
windows xp
ipod touch 4g
upgrade from ios 4.1 to ios 5.0.1
used snowbreeze v 2.8b11 custom ipsw
used ireb within snowbreeze to put into pwned dfu mode
custom restore on itunes using snowbreeze custom firmware
stops when snowbreeze progress bar appears
and gives error 10 dll not found in ipsw
device is stuck in recover mode(connect to itunes symbol)
tried using ibooty and redsnow and recboot to kick out of recovery.no use.

You can't use iTunes 10.0 to install iOS 5. You will need iTunes 10.5 at minimum.

was your issue with the version of iTunes? is your problem fixed? If so, what was the issue/solution.
I have the same problem as described above and I am using iTunes 10.5.2
