Default Help bring my 3Gs back to life!!! PLEASE HELP!

Basically i cannot get any version of iOS loaded on my phone. Last time the phone was working i had loaded a custom 4.3.3 made by redsnow and got it jailbroken and everything was fine. Then the phone just shut off into a blackscreen of abyss. When i plug it into my computer itunes recognizes it as stuck in DFU mode, but redsnow wont let me click next on the step where it says make sure the phone is off. Whenever i try to load any OS i get numerous errors from itunes. I cant get any image to show up on my phone, its just black. No apple logo, no connect to itunes. iReb puts it into pwnd dfu mode but i still get itunes errors.

Basically what ive been trying to do now is load 4.3.3 back on to the phone and just get it to turn on, but when i use the newest itunes i get error 3194 (with an edited host file)

so basically i need to know how to go about getting some sort of response out of my phone.

This is what i most recently did.

    1. Used iReb to put phone into PWND DFU

    2. Opened up iTunes verion 10.4.1 and did a shift restore using a Custom ispw made by redsnow for 4.3.3

If i use tinyumbrella server i get error 1600 and if i close tinyumbrella and edit my host file to remove points to apple i still get error 3194.

Iphone 3Gs NEW bootrom. Last running iOS was 4.3.3 with the 6.15.00 baseband.

    Windows 7 64 bit

    Log iPhone Log - Pastebin.com

I can try any suggestions when i update to itunes 10.6 i get error 3194 even with the edited host file. I have SHSH saved if needed.

EDIT: I have SHSH files saved (or at least tiny umbrella says i do) for 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, and 4.3.3 and tinkering around with it today i finally got SOME life out of the screen, but just a solid white screen and then some yellow screen that kinda fades to black but can still see yellow (sorry best i could describe it) Im basically lost at what i should try so

What should i try next, i dont really care what version of iOS i get i just want it to work again lol

2nd EDIT: I got redsnow (using the latest version) to run a recovery fix on the phone and redsnow says "no identifying data fetched" and the screen on the phone is just all white. Still lost at what to try now. Im pretty sure there is a way to get it working agian

    1) Remove all modifications to your hosts file. (Don't just comment them out, they cause more harm than good now, remove them entirely!)
    2) Ensure TinyUmbrella has downloaded your 4.3.3 SHSH
    3) Start the TSS server in TinyUmbrella
    4) Shift-Restore/Option-Restore in iTunes and point to the 4.3.3 IPSW for your phone.
    5) When the restore completes, stop the TSS server, ensure 'Set hosts to Cydia on exit' is NOT checked, and close TinyUmbrella

This will get you back to 4.3.3, provided you have the SHSH as you mentioned. You DO NOT need to use Pwned DFU, and if you do, the restore will not complete successfully. You ONLY need to use recovery mode or DFU mode to complete this restore. Since the iOS revision on the phone may be impacted now, you may not be able to boot the phone into recovery mode -- in which case, you should boot it into DFU mode and complete the restore.

As I recall, the 1601 is expected -- just use TinyUmbrella to 'kick device out of recovery'. I omitted that step by accident.

The entire time ths iOS is trying to restore TinyUmbrella options for recovery enter exit and fix are all greyed out. i see my recent device in tinyumbrella but when i connect my phone to my computer now itunes recognizes it in DFU but it doesnt show up in TU

EDIT: Ok now Tiny Umbrella is showing it as a recovery device but now when i try an iTunes restore i get error 20. Here is that log. http://pastebin.com/5zPcqVcy

You should have the 'kick device out of recovery' option in TSS when the server is not running, after the restore has completed and you receive the 1601. That said, Error 20 usually (but not always) indicates either you're attempting to restore in non-DFU mode or you're attempting to restore a custom firmware without being in Pwned DFU mode. Where did you get the .IPSW you're using to restore?

I got it from iClarified iClarified - iPhone - Where To Download iPhone Firmware Files From

And when i get the 1601 error, i never see a progress bar on the phone.

    This is exactly what happens,

    1. extracting software

    2. preparing iphone for restore, progress bar goes full grey

    3. perparing iphone for restore, progress bar is grey and white moving like a barber shop pole, at this point i hear the phone disconnect from the computer and never reconnects.

    4. still has moving progress bar on "preparing iphone for restore" and finally get 1601 error

Since the phone never reconnected back to the computer, TU doesnt recognize it so i cant kick or fix recovery anything lol

    Try this:

Restore 4.3.3 on iPhone 4 and get around iTunes errors 1601 and 1013 - iPhone, iPad, iPod Forums at iMore.com

It's the only thing I could find, based on my experience what you're trying should be working. This is the only place I can see it talking about the 1601 before the actual restore happens. It's a little in-depth, but if it works....

Ok so i tried this numerous times and it seems no matter if im in normal DFU or pwned DFU i still get 1601 error.

So i think the whole issue about the phone never reconnecting to the computer after the extract software process in itunes is what is causing my problems.

Going to try a different computer to see if that is the issue but i dont think it is.

EDIT: Tried different computer, same result although fix recovery in TU actually disconnected the phone and the phone reconnected, so i guess that is some progress but im still getting 1601 error from itunes.

I dont think im getting into the correct mode to upload an ISPW...thats my only guess.

Ok, so good news. I got iOS 5.1 to successfully install onto my phone. So its up and running again, but it seems the problem that made me want to do a restore in the first place is still there. Basically my 3Gs just shuts off or restarts at random times. Havent tested much to see if i can generate the error on command but when i try to load app store searches or cydia it seems to happen everytime. I did a quick google search but couldnt find a fix that worked. What do you think needs to be replaced in my phone?
