Just wanted help with my iPhone 3G which is stuck in recovery mode.

When I bought this phone it was jailbroken as well as unlocked and was on version. 4.1

By mistake my friend clicked on update on itunes and somehow the phone stuck on recovery mode.

I downloaded 4.2 firmware and when I try to restore I get an error 1015.

I tried to solve it by little umbrealla but it doesnt help either.

Am using windows.. Please guide me the way out.

Well I was finally able to get it working.
Used snowbreeze to make a custom CFW and just followed the instructions on the screen.
