3gs iphone with 4.0 beta 1 installed since it came out.. i didn't install beta2 just let phone run on beta1 . now im trying to install beta 3 on phone with mac and i keep getting 1611 error. the beta 3 os i have downloaded off of a good site.
could any body point me in right direction.

Have you tried restoring?

just try to upgrade it on a different mac this error is mostly solved if you try the upgrade on another mac like your friends or on a mac osx in parallel or fusion or in an apple store.

u can also solve it by installing a new mac osx on a new partion !!
