    Question hacktivating 4.0.x without AT&T sim

    My phone is from at&t ...i dont have the sim card of at&t....and i am on 4.0 firmware...some how i want to update my iphone 3gs to 4.0.1....
    if i do will stuck to the activating window....
    the problem is how to hactivate it...
    1)i dont have at&t sim card
    2)i dont have phonebook SIM card.
    3)Also i dont have the custom firmware form pwange...

    so please help me....
    i do have limeran and other jailbreaking tools...
    so please help me...thank you

    You were threadjacking (taking over an unrelated thread), this is impolite. Please don't do this again.
    I have moved your post to a separate thread instead.

    Apple blocked phonebook SIM card activation a few months ago. That is not an option any more.

    Limera1n doesn't work on 4.0.1 - don't trust limera1n's hacktivation anyway.

    You need access to pwnagetool and a SHSH saved for iOS 4.1 or higher, there really isn't any other option.

    What SHSH do you have saved?
