I had this iPhone 4 unlocked with the Gevey sim card but all of the sudden the phone locked itself again. It had happened before but I just went through the steps and had it unlocked again. However; this time is different, it wont unlock the phone! Does it mean I need to buy another gevey sim card or the phone went bad? Thanks

You never "unlocked" your phone with that gevey. You were able to use another sim card with it, it has been well documented that those cards are perhaps the worse way to use an iphone 4. I understand it was your only option, but ..... And as I recall discussing those cards is not allowed because they are considered to be illegal in the usa. SO SORRY.

If it just stopped working, my guess is your carrier finally blocked your access (they've blocked the trick being used by the gevey) and if that is the case, these threads are going to be popping up all over the place

Same issue here [solved].
- Go to Cydia and reinstall UltraSnow. Gevey will work again.

Please suggest how do i get out of this trouble I have been using my Iphone for a month now with GEVEY TURBO SIM PRO but now after the Itunes update it all got messed up. My phone doesn't work I just get a screen which shows a usb cord connecting to itunes and says insert a valid sim with no PIN lock to activate iphone. Please help. I just got this phone down from the USA and was using it in the middle east.
Its just got me crazy.

Again, we don't recommend or endorse Gevey sim (as it requires you to break the law by dialing 112 to unlock)

Reality though is you are confusing unlock with activation. (or to put it another way, your problem has nothing to do with your geveysim)

By restoring/updating your iPhone (against all unlocking advice - which makes it clear that you should avoid update/restore unless you know it is safe)

You need to find a way to hacktivate or legitimately activate your iPhone. Some searching will rapidly give you the right information to solve this problem.
