EMERGENCY Iphone 4 wont Restore
I have a jailbreaked iphone that was in firmware 4.1 and I wanted to unjailbreak it and set it up for IOS 5 without any intention of ever jailbreaking it again. I'm using windows and have it unlocked with limera1n, I followed this video How to UnJailbreak Your iPhone 4, iPod touch, & iPad The Right Way! - YouTube
and ended up getting error 3194.
I solved this error using this tutorial http://osxdaily.com/2010/12/06/error...ix-for-itunes/
but I ended up with the problem of error 1013 which I cant get passed. I tried tinyumbrella without really knwing what I'm doing... but kind of figured out I needed to already have SHSH's saved or something like that but I'm not sure. I increased the baseband on my phone with the check box feature because i thought it might help but its still the same. I got 2 host files now one for umbrella and I'm confused. I tried this fix
Solution of error 1013 in iPhone 4 - MacRumors Forums
but it didn't work when I deleted all the lines I got error 3194 again and when I only kept the added line from the first tutorial I still had 1013. I need my phone back up and running for my job on monday this is really important!
Thanks for the answer
What I want to know though as I'm trying this out is the ipsw file would be my current firmware? Also you want me to hold the shift button as I hit restore on Itunes?
I dont think this can work cause I never upped a blob to the server initially and when I made an attempt to up it and see if I could make it signed it told me I had an unknown firmware. Right now my phone is stuck in a recovery loop.

Even if your phone is in a bootloop, so long as it still have iOS on it (e.g., you DIDN'T erase all content and settings), then you can likely still get your partial blobs which will help you restore again in the future by using iFaith.
