Dire need of assistance, I may have just bricked my phone
The phone is currently prompting me to plug it into itunes and initiate a restore... When initially following the procedure to restore the phone to factory, I forgot to put the device into DFU mode and attempted to restore sans that step. Now the phone is unable to be restored within iTunes and I may have perpetually bricked it... Please help... I'm desperate
EDIT: TinyUmbrella is not detecting my iphone, therefore I am unable to to use it to restore using the SHSH blobs from my phone... Is there anything I can do?

It's pretty much impossible to permanantly brick your iPhone in such a way.
You DON'T need to be in DFU mode to restore, a recovery mode restoration will remove your jailbreak and will restore correctly.
I understand that you are new to this - you haven't published any restore logs or even quoted an error code.
This article explains how to publish restore logs. http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/130802.htm
Also another thread suggests you may have fixed this problem yourself. Can you please confirm this?
