Confused about whole ios 4.0 jailbreak unlock situation
Can anyone please help me out with the current situation.
I have a 3GS running 3.1.2 jailbroken and unlocked using blackra1n.
Baseband is 5.11.07
It is a newer 3GS so doesnt have the older bootloader.
What i want to know is, can i update to 4.0 jailbreak and unlock yet?
Ive been reading page after page on the net saying unlock is now available but jailbreak isnt, then jailbreak is available but not for something or another. Its getting slightly confusing!
I am not a noob at this in any way, just confused as to what is availble at the moment.
Any help on whether i can go ahead with it or hold tight for a few weeks etc, would be appreciated.
Thanks

Unlock for both 3g and 3gs is available but NO jailbreak for 3gs yet, ONLY 3g can be jailbreak for now.
Since you have a 3gs, you need to wait for a jailbreak software first before you can unlock the phone. So don't update to 4.0 yet, just wait, it shouldn't be long.
