Carrier file corrupt
Is there any way to recover my carrier info functionality?
I can't use my 3G connection and my carrier name looks like the default one (without using a image). Would be nice to at least enter my APN settings manually to use my 3G. Now it's like an iPod Touch that can make calls only haha.

The word is that if you are not on a supported carrier - you can't fix any of this on 4.0b1 without a jailbreak and appropriate patch.
The whole IPCC is now signed and checked by the iPhone OS. At least that is what I have seen reported

The problem is, that I'm on a supported carrier, and the iPhone tells me my carrier file is corrupt =(, on a unsupported carrier you can at least specify your APN to use your 3G connection.
Had to roll back to 3.1.2 .. hopefully on a next beta my carrier file gets fixed.
Don't know if the devs have access to the new OS 4.0 carrier files, so I could upload a fixed one for my carrier to my iPhone.
