Cannot Fix APN settings, please help.
Been working on this for quite some time now.
I successfully unlock my 3g, and it picks up the Carrier fine for calls and SMS, but it keeps saying there is no data. It is a Rogers iPhone 3G, and I have it on Bell. Did some research and it says I need to change my APN settings to use it. There comes the problem.
I have tried to install APN editing in Cydia, that fails out with 2 error messages, so that doesn't work.
Tried to SSH into phone and change carrier.plist, rebooted device, no luck.
Tried using Unlockit, says I already have a profile installed, looked and there isn't any there.
Even tried installing Supreme Prefs, but that is outdated, so it doesn't work.
I am stuck now, does anyone have any ideas on this?
If this is an iOS 4.x version you need wortel's commcenter patch (search there is a thread for this). You can't make APN changes "stick" on iOS 4.x without this patch.

Aside from that, would need more specific details to help you further.
