Wondering if any possible way to bybass the "Passcode" for IOS 4.3.4, or any way to retrieve the data(say call history, phonebook) without knowing the passcode.

Please kindly advise. Thanks.

Forgot to say that the device is locked(has passcode protected) currently.

You need to bruteforce the passcode - there are open source tools that claim to be able to do this. I have linked to them earlier, iphone-dataprotection - iphone data protection tools - Google Project Hosting a quick search would save you creating a duplicate thread.

Personally, I have yet to test these tools (and there are some gotchas for recent iOS versions - read the FAQ/issues before starting)

Thanks Olethros, but seems there is a prerequisite that i need to have a backup before, and the tools only works on the backup, isn't it?

I haven't dug into this at all, but yes I think that is the way it works.
