    Default blocked 3g i phone ????

    hi i have recently got a 8gb 3g iphone which has been blocked by o2 for non payment of bill i have been given this by my friend but cant seem to find info on how to unblock it can anybody help ???

    You will need to contact o2 and ensure the bill is paid and the account is brought back out of delinquent status. There are other methods to accomplish this, but none of the other methods are legal and cannot be discussed on these forums.

    If you cannot have o2 legitimately remove the IMEI block on the phone, the most legal of your alternatives is to try and arrange a swap of the device (disclosing that it is IMEI blocked in the EU) to someone who is using it in a location where there is no IMEI block (like the US).
