my brother was in Usa and buyed an iphone 4 in second hands shop, the phone is used. In Usa works really good but when he comes back to italy and i've get the phone in Itunes, apple blocks my phone, i've tryed to do recovery stuff, to sync as new iphone but nothing, the phone is still blocked, what i can do? i've tryed to activate with original sim the ATT and italian sim but nothing happens, the is blocked.

What do you mean blocked? do you get a 1004 error?

1004 is NOT apple blocking your phone,

This is caused by a failure to match the Baseband Nonce currently in memory to the Nonce returned in the Baseband Firmware SHSH blob. This happens if you edited the hosts file (Sauriks Server) or you are using TinyUmbrella. Use TinyUmbrella and "Kick Device Out Of Recovery" to boot. 1

there is no 1004 error, 1004 its easy to resolve with tiny umbrella... Itunes says: apple blocked that iphone... i think there is some trouble with imei stuff.. i hope that iphone wasnt stoled before sell...

Possibly, or there is a hardware problem with the phone. Please post a screenshot of the iTunes message
