Is there anyway to get passed having a broken power butten on a iphone 3gs Jailbreak? i can get software to go to restore mode but not dfu and i would like to use redsnow so i can get the ipad baseband change so i can ultrasnow unlock it, but redsnow 0.9.6 stable, doesnt let you go from recovery mode. If I could get into dfu mode it would make my life so much easyer.

Also I use Windows 7, and have access to a mac but I've never used one before.

No the exploit that redsn0w, greenpois0n, pwnagetool use on iOS 4.1 and higher works only from DFU mode.

Right now, all I can recommend is that you get your power button fixed. It should not be very expensive as you probably only need to replace this part http://www.ifixit.com/iPhone-Parts/i...mbly/IF137-004
