3G Restoring Problem
Hey guys. I've tried several times to Restore my iPhone 3G using an ISPW i got from iClarified. I'm pretty sure it's the right one I got. I get an error in iTunes (1015) ... I know that error means it's a baseband mismatch.. I try and use tinyumbrella to try kick out of recovery mode.. It's still not working... I tried putting it in DFU mode and jailbreaking with Greenpois0n but its still not working... I managed to jailbreak it with redsn0w.. but it still goes into recovery mode. Don't really know what to do now :/ I'm confused.
btw... I just also want to know what the last baseband update for 3G was ( and if it can be unlocked).. and the last Firmware apple released for the 3G.

1015 is normal if you have baseband.
last firmware for 3G is 4.2.1
last baseband (5.15.04) but people have upgraded to iPad baseband (6.15) - this is what causes the error
Restore either "custom 4.2.1 IPSW made with Pwnagetool 4.2 or the matching sn0wbreeze version(2.2.1 or maybe as old as 2.2r1)
Or restore with original 4.2.1 IPSW and then run latest greenpois0n to remove error. If you need to unlock/hacktivate, you should then run redsn0w 0.9.6rc8 with the 4.2.1 IPSW and select only "install Cydia"

While in Restore mode... I tired jailbreaking using greenpois0n ... As you said above. It can't get into DFU mode.

You have to follow the steps, you were given 2 options:
A- Create a custom 4.2.1 IPSW with PwnageTool (Mac) or sn0wbreeze (Windows) and restore.
OR
B- Restore to original 4.2.1 IPSW and run the latest greenpois0n when it's done, use redsn0w if you can't activate with official SIM card.
Pick one, follow, if you have a problem in the process, post here with *detailed* information (which step were you, what happened, what were you expecting, etc).
