Default Workaround for uuid(vista and windows 7 only)

This is for anyone who can't sync after upgrading to 3.0

    1.Click on start

2.type in "Search programs and files" firewall.

3.Try to find windows firewall with Advanced Security if you are in windows 7 otherwise try to get on the advanced settings of windows firewall.

4.Create a new outgoing rule that blocks iTunes.exe from using the internet.

    5.Enjoy

EDIT:This will just stop iTunes from accessing the internet which prevents it from checking if ur UDID is on the Developer List.

EDIT:From what has gone on it appears that ipods are the only ones that work with this.

EDIT: if anyone got a link for Itouch (1st Gen) 3.0 torrent link polease send me

Want something easier? Just disconnect your computer from internet when connecting the device. Works for Mac and PC.

im pretty sure this is pointless for an iphone tho and the method would only be beneficial for an ipod touch because it doesnt really need to be "activated"
