    Default Using iLiberty to regain Bluetooth

    Can someone please tell me which payloads to use in iLiberty in order to get bluetooth back, as mentioned in my other post I have zibris mac address due to trying his wifi fix as a last resort, it seemed to have activated my wifi as it now works but I have no BT now.

    Should I use iLiberty and the no signal/wifi/bluetooth fix on 1.1.4?

    Will this mess up my wifi if it doesnt work?

    Any advice would be great, thanks

    I'm thinking;

    Try the following:

    1. downgrade iTunes to 7.5 removing all traces of iTunes Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP for download links of old itunes iTunes - The iPhone Wiki
    2. DFU mode http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/54082.htm and load firmware 1.1.4 Firmware - The iPhone Wiki
    3. use iLiberty Plus to jailbreak and activate (confirm what baseband version you have)
    4. Use iLiberty Plus to erase baseband iLiberty+ | George Zhu's BLOG
    5. you will get no wifi and IMEI missing this is okay.
    6. install iTunes 8.2
    7. recovery mode http://www.hackint0sh.org/f137/54082.htm and load firmware 3.0 ( this will give you back the baseband)
    8. jail break and unlock with Redsn0w. iClarified - iPhone - How to Unlock/Jailbreak Your iPhone 2G on OS 3.0.x Using RedSn0w (Windows)

    Will this fix the MAC address back to it's original or will it stay the same?

    I know you have no wifi and bluetooth address but do you have an IMEI? What baseband do you have at the moment?

    I have IMEI, working wi-fi as I've said, I have posted;

    This left me with greyed out wi-fi and bluetooth unavailable, so I tried a few things like downgrading to 1.1.4 and trying Kiphone to delete and hopefully replace the baseband, (which I wasn't too sure about)

    I tried various methods like redsn0w on 3.0 etc, then I cam across Kiphone.

    I read up on this and gave it a try.

    During the process I got various 10xx errors while restoring (as it said I would), then as instructed on the third restore using itunes 7.5 to got the phone to 1.1.4, still greyed out wi-fi!?

    So at this point I'm thinking, its screwed, so I start to look around and see Zibri's famous wi-fi fix,

    I thought hey give it a try, so I did, it seemed to hang and not work, so I updated to 3.1.2 and my wi-fi was back, with Zibris MAC address and still no bluetooth available.

    So my main question is can anyone help me restore my initial mac address and regain bluetooth functionality? or am I now stuck with this MAC?

    Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

    So as mentioned I have working wi fi, on 3.1.2, jailbroken, I just have the MAC address that comes with Ziphones Fix Wifi, as mentioned I tried it as a last resort.

    I'm on 4.6 BL and 04.05.04_G

    Does bootneuter still freeze at determining settings?

    What does bootneuter say when you run it? You say you are on 4.6 BL and 04.05.04_G BB, are you neutered? unlocked? fake blanked? Don't change anything just yet.. just report back the settings.

    after my first try with bootneuter, when it froze, I was neutered, unlocked but not fakeblanked.

    I then used bootneuter to restore what it said was "4.6 stock BL"

    Right now I am on;
    4.6 BL,
    Un-neutered,

    I think the unlock worked though as under carriers I now have 4 options as well as O2 UK.

    So I have 4.6BL, Neuter Off, Fakeblank Off, Unlock Off

    UPDATE:

    I just double checked bootneuter, and it gave me an error, unable to talk to bootloader, this may be caused by a commcentre collision, and I lost Wi-Fi again.

    Rebooted the phone and Wi-Fi is back, slight panic there.

    Should I do Airplane mode before bootneuter?
