its been months since i m searching net for unlock for 3.1.3. i understand there isn't any unlocking soultion available ATM. but when i jailbroke my iPhone from 05.12.07 (i suppose that's the latest BB) the guy made it 05.12.01 but its still on 3.1.3, having said that. is there any possibility or tool i can use to unlock my iPhone?
Thanks in advance
Need to clearly distinuish jailbreak and unlock.

You had OS 3.1.2 (or lower) with baseband 05.11.07
Then you restored to OS 3.1.3 which comes with baseband 05.12.01
OS 3.1.2 can be jailbroken (with pwnagetool, redsn0w, blackra1n)
Baseband 05.11.07 can be unlocked with blacksn0w on OS 3.1.2 or 3.1.3
As of today OS 3.1.3 can be jailbroken on a 3G or 2G iPhone but cannot be directly jailbroken on 3GS
Baseband 05.12.01 cannot be unoficially unlocked as of today. Official unlock is available from most carriers with the notable exception of AT&T.
It is only possible to downgrade 05.12.01 to 05.11.07 (or earlier) on some 3G iPhones which were made and sold within the first weeks of the 3G iPhone launch. Downgrading requires jailbreak and is done with a tool called fuzzyband that can be installed via Cydia.
Coming very soon is Spirit which will jailbreak OS 3.1.3 (all iPhone and iPod touch models) and OS 3.2 (iPad). This jailbreak works in a different way and won't jailbreak iPhones that are not already activated.
Still very few details on an unlock for baseband 05.12.01 or higher - don't expect this to appear until June/July (or well after the jailbreaks appear)

These questions have all been asked and answered before (many times - you are not the only one who has accidentally upgraded). The advice has been the same since OS 2.x - if you rely on jailbreak or non-official unlock - use caution and avoid updating your iPhone OS or iTunes until you know it is safe to do so.
When a new jailbreak or unlock is released it will be obvious if you make the effort to search these forums. There will be new subforums and stickies created for the new jailbreak or unlock.
