    Default Is my Iphone bricked???

I have a bricked Iphone 3G, with no firmware installed.
Whenever I turn it on, a usb cable pointing to itunes logo appear.
I've tried to restore the following firmwares in both DFU and normal recovery mode,
but none of them completed successfully,
    -iPhone1_2_2.0_5A347_Restore
    -iPhone1_2_2.0.2_5C1_Restore
    -iPhone1_2_2.1_5F136_Restore
    -iPhone1_2_2.2_5G77_Restore
    -iPhone1_2_3.0_7A341_Restore

Also tried to rebuild a custom firmware using Winpwn 2.5, but after
finishing building and putting the iphone into DFU Mode, it says:
"Winpwn 2.5 beta encourtered an error"

    Is my Iphone bricked?
Can I get it to work again?.

    Please Help.
    Thanks.

    Dear Sir:
I've tried using RedSnow 0.8.0, when finished uploading data to Iphone and says done on RedsnOw, the Iphone stuck on " Downloading Jailbreak Data " with the Loading Circle and never ends.

    What would be the problem?

    Thanks

    Dear Sir:

After building a custom firmware "2.0.2" uning WinPwn 2.5 BETA and getting into DFU Mode, it says: Please use itunes to restore your Iphone/iPod with a custom IPSW now..., Now I use itunes and to restore the custom IPSW, everything goes well untill finishing " preparing Iphone", itunes says " Waiting for Iphone" and it is stuck here. I checked the Log file and here what I found at the end of the LOg:

If you ever restored to firmware 3, the baseband got updated. no way then using winpwn 2.5. As far as I have been reading your posts, this is what you did.

If so, DFU restore in itunes to Apple stock firmware 3.0. the iPhone will be locked then.
After that follow this tutorial to jailbreak the iPhone:

then to unlock it go for

you posted in the iPhone 3G section so you got a 3G right?

Are you using the shift+restore method??

I experienced a similar situation to what you have described and it was because I was just restoring and not holding shift first.

    HI volkspost

Yes I tried to update to firmware 3.0 but it didn't complete successfully.

Now the Iphone is without any firmware indeed, and only displays the Usb and Itunes Logo.

Whenever I try to restore an IPSW it stuck on " Waiting for I phone" without completing.

    it's driving me crazy
