    Default no dice

I've tried installing manually as well as from cydia and still no go for me. Do i need to install an ipcc profile or something? i have no option for apn settings, but even without that shouldn't i still be seeing the camera icon in the message app?

This is the first time I've ever sent an MMS, just because Apple decided I could it made me want to go and install this. Now hopefully people can turn their attention to fixing Push Notifications.
I know the descriptions are kinda simple but could you give us a short step by step guide on how you patched everything?

    would be nice

    P.s.

"2. Then in same folder (/var/root) in terminal input: dpkg -i mms2g.deb"

Which terminal is meant here? A Terminal App on the iPhone? Or SSH ?

Both should work fine as far as the chmod is concerned

you can use winscp (ssh) if your on windows and enter ctrl+t and it will open a terminal window, you can also do this with the terminal app from cydia directly on the phone.

After installing it and rebooting you need to go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network

Once in there you need to enter the appropriate information (APN, MMSC, MMS Proxy) for your mobile provider.
Note: Some providers might require user and password fields to be filled in as well.

Then restart the phone again, after this restart you should get the camera in the Messaging app.
