Default Itunes 8.20.10 wont find my iphone

so i'm trying to do the ipcc update to get mms and tethering and for some reason itunes refuses to find my iphone. windows finds it and wants to download images makes all it's little boopie sounds. os x doesn't get it at all, has no idea it's even there. itunes doesn't recognise it, no dice.

if anyone has a reccomendation. i'm all ears.

I have the same problem (with iTunes 8.2, Max OSX and 3.0 GM). All was fine and dandy until yesterday evening. Now iTunes does not recognize my iPhone and it cannot be restored. I get error 1611, 10 and 20 depending on weather I tru to restore to 3.0 GM or 2.2.1 and weather I try it on Mac OSX (8.2 iTunes) or Bootcamp windows (8.2 beta 10 iTunes).

    Not good!

I had the same problem after installing the iPhone Configuration Utility because it installed an old Mobile Device Support.
I just reinstalled the last iTunes in order to reinstall the last Mobile Device Support.

8.2 final does not support ipcc files.

16xx errors are trying to downgrade the BB - enter DFU and restore and it should be fine.

Quick note: On a Mac just start Terminal (Applications > Utilities) and type

defaults write com.apple.iTunes carrier-testing -bool TRUE

ipcc support will be enabled again ;-)
