    Default iSpazio upgrade killing Cydia?

    Hi there,

I just upgraded to 3.0 using pwnage tool and Cydia suggested to upgrade iSpazio. That thing is downloading a lot of stuff and finally killing Cydia. Something wrong there?

    Greetz

Edit: Ultrasn0w does the same - strange

    Edit 2: Found it.

This behavior seems to be connected to pwnage somehow. The new pwnage allows to install cydia packages which are already downloaded locally. Unfortunately it does not check or even allow to check for updates before installing them. Certain packages like APT will cause this behavior. Further on I even tried to add Cydia installer itself to the custom packages and made a fresh download. Making a FW bundle with this one will let Cydia crash immediately after starting.
Keeping previously downloaded packages for new releases might be fine for people who are upgrading frequently, it does weird things for common users though. A clean restore with a clean cusom package will always do the job. Thanks to everybody doing the work for us for FREE, I highly appreciate it.
