Bluetooth I can understand, if indeed the chipset is different.
Can't wait to find out what else is omitted for 2G iPhones, because I am sure there is more than MMS and Bluetooth.
Now, about the features, I don't like the lack of A2DP and MMS in the 1st Gen, but I was planning to switch for the 3rd Gen next year, anyway. (Besides, I used A2DP twice with a dongle, and have never used MMS. Think is a waste of time and money. A buck for MMS, anyone?)
No A2DP for 1st generation Iphone? where i can find the info about that?
Iphone 8Gb unlocked (3 of them, old versions all)
Thanks Dev(dream) team
it is actually in the keynote
Hmm...Apple wouldn't go back to a metallic back plate, it needs to be at least partially plastic if you want to get any signal at all through it. The only other option would be that metallic plastic, which is the epitome of cheap IMO and definitely not a material Apple would consider.
Also, Apple wants to keep the iPod Touch at 2x the capacity of the top iphone so it actually remains competitive. If they had a 64gb iPhone, they would also have a 128gb iPod Touch, which I would say is bigger news than the new iPhone.
Still, everyone and their mother called fake on the mac mini shot and video, and it ended up being 100% true. Apple is obviously losing their ability to keep things like this under wrap. I'm not saying that every spy shot is legit now, but there is at least the possibility that the shots are genuine.
EDIT: Also the lettering looks off. This could easily just be a knockoff.
Plus, that hole looks like its for an external antenna connector, which is something that definitely would not make it to a production unit. Maybe this is actually a prototype?
