Default iPhone 2G upgraded to OS3.x Problems/Bug question

    Hello !
Durring the summer 2009 I got my iphone 2g upgraded to iPhone OS3.1... everything did seem ok but after few days I got some problems (many of them are already described and i read how to avoid it but ->) The main problem i get is that - when someone tries to call me he/she get the message att my phone is turned off (even when it isn't !) + sms delay (up to 1hour)
When I downgraded iPhone to OS2.2 everything is ok...
After over 6months I would like to upgrade it back but I couldn't find the answer for my question: Did they fixed that bugs/problems ? or how can i avoid that problem ?
Can it be because I unlocked/jailbroke iPhone ? (I use swedish carrier - comviq)

    Very thankful for answer/help !

I was looking thru the forum to find the answer but I couldn't find it... So apologize if there is that topic already.

iPhone OS 3.1 was not released until september 2009 - not really summer any more.

That is a strange problem. Did you load a custom IPCC for your carrier onto the iPhone? Do you have any more information about any extra steps you did with 2.2 to make this work there? Have you tried any other carrier's SIM cards? I have an iPhone 2G that has been running iPhone OS 3.1.x without this problem on various Norwegian carriers.

No I didn't try any other carrier. I was upgrading with iclarified.com tutorial.
The most strange thing is that - when i did upgrade last time (christmast) everything was ok durring 2 weeks after i started to have those problems.
