When this gets all sorted out, I think a spoonfeeders guide will be required. I'm so lost, but I'm also not a DEV like this thread calls for.

What exactly are the APN settings that we should be using for AT&T?

Well my settings wont work as I am on T-Mo but I did this with my buddies phone on AT&T and it worked. Good luck.

Make sure you have this typed in on settings/general/network/cellular data network and on the MMS section fill in the blanks :
    APN: wap.cingular
    Username:
    Password:
    MMSC: mmsc.cingular.com
    MMS Proxy: 066.209.011.32
    MMS Max Message Size: 614400
    MMS UA Prof URL:

Try watching this as well and possibly ask this guy what his APN settings are as he is on AT&T and it's working.

    Hope this helps!

There is nothing wrong with the patch. What most people have problems with is to get the settings to stick.

It should be fairly easy to get it to work if you get the latest carrier list from apple and then download the carrier file for your provider.

This command shows all the carrier files:

    curl -s -L http://phobos.apple.com/version | grep -i carrier

Once downloaded open the carrier bundle by renaming from ipcc to zip and unpack it. Open the version.plist file and change the version to a higher version. Then edit the carrier.plist file and add the needed apn settings. Save all. Zip it again and rename to ipcc. Upload the new ipcc file to you iPhone by using iTunes.

Reboot and check if the settings are being used and they should stick if you do any changes to it.

Thanks very much for all the work on the patch. I have it all working but still have a battery issue though. I charged it to 100% last night and just left it on, this morning it was at 76% normally it would be around 98%.
