Rock appeared after OS 3.x I think

The increasing opinion is that rock is a developers nightmare and is also a source of a lot of crashed iPhones. The recommendation now is to not install rock and use Cydia instead.

The russian text is normal - that is recovery mode

Use this guide. You can say you are already pwned. This guide talks about OS 3.1.3 but the steps and tools are identical for 3.1.2 which is the version i recommend. You just need a 3.1.2 ipsw for 3g iphone.

iClarified - iPhone - How to Jailbreak Your iPhone 3G on OS 3.1.3 Using PwnageTool (Mac)

Then you can unlock with either ultrasn0w 04.26.08 or blacksn0w 05.11.07 depending on what baseband you have.

Do not restore to stock 3.1.3 this will destroy your unlock

You threadjacked (posted in a completely unrelated thread). Not the best way to start off.

Erase all content and settings can generally cause a lot of issues, it's not generally recommended. This is because it erases your operating system leaving the phone nearly unbootable.

Basically, you need to put the phone into DFU mode and restore an OS (any iOS 3.x is fine)
The only tricky thing is the timing - most of the guides for putting the phone into DFU expect that the phone has a working OS.
