linking to the 3.0 fw files is against the forum rules and illegal, so no.

read the entire thread please! you are either NOT in DFU mode and in recovery mode (if you see a connect to itunes picture on your phone you are in RECOVERY mode not DFU. If you are in DFU then you are probably running 10.5.6 and need to downgrade some usb extensions or connect your iphone through a hub, this has been mentioned on this thread about 50 times so please read the thread before posting a question that has already been posted (and answered) multiple times.

FYI, just tried rebooting the phone and it kept coming back alive in restore mode -- even though I was only hitting the power button for 2 seconds, and regardless of whether or not the USB cable was connected. Apparently this step IS required? Does QuickPWN force a restart in standard mode from restore mode? I know apps used to do that for the 1st gen iPhones...

I tried searching for a thread but couldn't find one, I'm sure people would have noticed that George Hotz has released a patch to downgrade baseband to 2.2.1's bb, now anyone who has 5.8 or 5.9 bootloader can do that, I have a phone which is from the first week of release so I'm pretty sure it has the 5.8 bootloader, now that I can downgrade to 2.2.1, would I be potentially be able to downgrade my baseband to 2.2.1's as well, has anyone tried this yet? I'll do this tomo and post results

    Thanks
