Default Can't restore... Maybe more is wrong.

Okay, here is what I know so far. iPhone 2g was dropped a week ago, cracked screen still worked. Woke up this am to black screen, plugged it in, nothing happened. I tried to restore it to 3.1.3 a few times with no luck. A few hours later, turned it on and got Apple logo -> "restore" screen -> flash to all white screen -> then black screen. Possibly the screen is shot? I finally managed to restore it to a custom ispw, but still no screen. I've been trying to restore to Official 3.1.3, but keep getting a few errors. Latest being (1011),. Any help would be appreciated.

    iTunes 10.1

    OS X 10.5.8, also tried 10.6.?latest

Tried to restore to a custom ispw again, got a 1604 code this time?

Maybe you already know this: but if you need a way to restore the device, redsn0w still works:

    Your radio/baseband is damaged/not responding.
Using redsn0w to jailbreak the phone after your 1011 error might get the phone working as an iPod touch without wifi.

The 1604 error is simply that the phone/iTunes is not correctly pwned to accept custom IPSW (the only custom IPSW that would help is one which has baseband update step disabled)
