Default [BUG] Music and Videos don't show up in iPod, but take up space on iPhone

So iTunes says it is syncing music and videos, but when it is done, there's no music in the iPod app while iTunes shows that the audio and video are taking up 10 GB of space. Anyone else experiencing this on 3.0 beta? (I'm getting an error that my calendar appts won't sync, if that has anything to do with it...)

Calendar appointments are syncing for me, and I am able to view all media in iTunes. I am however experiencing some significant and regular crashes.

Additionally, somehow an application that I compiled under the latest Xcode has developed a memory leak between the weekend and today. Sad part is that the only thing that I changed was some strings as I noticed a spelling error.

Still, looks like a legit error in how I was handling creating a graph so I don't have any objections there. Will still make things nicer for me

Which issue, mine, or the guy in the second post that totally changed the topic of the thread's issue?

    Sorry, should've quote.
The one of music not appearing on the iPod app but still taking space on the device.

I thought it was wiped out actually, I didn't check how much space I had to I just hooked it up onto iTunes expecting a long sync, instead no progress bar for music even appeared but when I checked all the music, podcasts and videos were there.

I have experienced the same problem as the OP. My syncs are also taking significantly longer. I have also noticed that part way through the sync I hear the unlock sound and then it continues again. Sometimes my music and podcasts are available and sometimes they are not. I have also noticed that sometimes the menu shows a podcast that will no longer play. I assume that it is the library on the iphone that is not updating even though the audio files are.

For anyone still with this problem, I have fixed it.

For some reason when syncing with 3.0, after I think it's supposed to be done syncing, it says "Syncing iPhone" for what seems like forever. I have just been killing iTunes, thinking that it is just in an endless loop. Well, that was my mistake. Just let it finishing doing whatever it's doing. It takes like an extra 45 minutes past when it usually would finish, but it DOES finish and then all of your music will be there

Just curious if everyone on with this thread is syncing with Windows or Mac. Please chime in. Thanks.

    Default Same issue

I am having the same issue, I have allowed the sync to complete fully and still cannot see my music on my iPhone.

I am syncing with a Mac OSX 10.5.6
