    Default Bluetooth tethering with 10.5.7

    Hi guys,

after upgrading to 10.5.7 bluetooth tethering finally worked on my macbook pro unibody
But after a reboot the "connect to network" button in the bluetooth settings was grey.
More people with the same problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Marco

[edit]Ok strange. The connect to network button isn't grey any more and tethering over bluetooth works again. Strange......[/edit]

The reason I upgraded to 10.5.7 was for this to work, and I didn't get the 'maximum connections' error any more, but like you the Connect to Network option's greyed out.

I'll reboot, see if it works then? I don't like the idea of having to reboot to get something to work on OS X.

Bluetooth tethering is working now. Sometimes I get an error but not so often.

EDIT: Having rebooted, unpaired and re-paired it seems to work. Strange.

    - iPhone 3.0 Beta 5
    - Unibody MacBook (and also a unibody MacBook Pro)

Bluetooth tethering is working absolutely perfectly, no different to me as if I had it plugged in with the cable. Thank you Apple!

Try unpairing everything and re-pairing; this worked for me. Took a bit of fiddling but it's really easy to get online now :-)
