Default [3G, 3.0] Keep losing settings on iPhone

I have a jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3G running on 3.0 (haven't updated to 3.1 yet). Every once in a while, and I'm not sure what triggers it, I lose some of my settings: all the icons that I organize in a particular manner suddenly are placed in their default positions, the screen brightness goes to default (50%?), the wireless is turned on, etc.

Does anyone else have this problem? Any solutions?

i had the same problem once when i had icy installed. i removed icy because i have read it's buggy and for 3.0. if you have that, you may consider removing it and see if it helps.

Thanks. But I found the problem. It was BrossPrefs. The creator had updated it to make it run on 3.0, but had dropped the project and so it was really buggy.
