    Default 3.1.3 Downgrade Fail

    Hi guys,

I am new here, and have been watching all the posts on here to see if I could get some hints and tips on what I am doing wrong! Maybe someone can help me?

I recently updated a iphone 3gs to 3.1.3 (oops!) and now I have put the block back on because of this baseband issue on 05.12.01.

I read somewhere that DOWNGRADING to 3.1.2 would work, and I should be able to unlock it from there.

To my surprise, when I finally got round to putting 3.1.2 back on the phone after jailbreaking it, it seems to still have the 05.12.01 baseband on there! huh?!?!

I am not sure why this is, or even if it is possible, but has anyone actually downgraded the 3.1.3 firmware back to 3.1.2 AND the baseband at the same time?

If anyone can give me some help that would be awesome, but if the answer is no, then I guess I will have to wait for the 3.1.3 cure from the Dev Team to come out, which is no biggy, I'm just a bit impatient!

    Cheers guys.

There is NO way to downgrade baseband on a 3GS (except via physical removal of the chip and external reflashing)

You need to wait for the forthcoming unlock. This question asked (and answered) many times already. Thread closed.
