Can you not just remove the APN settings to disable the EDGE & GPRS?

First of all, i think, there is no APN-Settings tab in my settings. Im using O2 - Germany, so i think, the APN does'nt affect EDGE/GPRS?! Am I wrong?

    Where to find APN settings?

You can try to upload ipcc file with the wrong APN settings. At the moment the APN settings either crash or are empty at most iphones running beta 3

I guess that wont help cause o2 Germany does not even care whats in for apn, user, pwd, it is just enabled - as far as I know

Unfortunalety this does not work for o2 Germany. They dont care at all whats in for apn/user/pwn, it is just enabled. the kiwi-site only is a good helper if your provider wants a specific entry here as most telcos do.
