Today i tried to install SL with HAZARD Snow leopard.. When i boot from the disc and try to enter -v -f -s.. after it says something about darwin and reboots right when you see the gray apple screen. it does it so fast for like a split secound.

When i try the empire efi way it says cpu halted and shuts down the PC

I need help on how to get past the reboot loop or the cpu halted problem.

Studio XPS 9000, Intel Core i7-920 processor (8MB L3 Cache 2.66GHz)
8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1066MHz
1024MB nVidia GeForce GT220

You can try another boot option, if not then may have to change distro release.
Try this:

-x -v cpus=8 busratio=20
