Unhappy Win7-OS X Dual Boot endless loop

Win7-OS X Dual Boot endless loop

Hello everyone, Im Mike, new to this forum. Im on here for only one reason, and im nbot sure weither to post it here or to a mac site well... I followed the instrustions to this site to the tee..How To: Dual Boot Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Windows 7 on a PC How To: Dual Boot Mac OS X Snow Leopard and Windows 7 on a PC

Now I have the usb stick all set up perfectly and i know it works because it begins to boot. unfortunatly it does begin and says Darwin for a split second but then it resets to the HP logo and restarts again. I am able to switch the directory to boot from so my Windows 7 side is unaffected. But i cannot get the OSX side to start. ANY IDEAS? i have been able before i choose the boot site to have on the bottom like a comand prompt it seems like where it just says BOOT: and i can type what ever I like into it.

try add your usb disk id, like this: -v rd=disk0s1.
replace number 0 and 1 in there, with the one that much your usb disk id.
0 means first disk drive, s1 for first partition.

what version easybcd you are using? the older version has hfs+ fix option in it you might one to try to use.
otherwise, check if your osx partition is set to Active.
..i'm also curious about your osx installation ..

i try the latest easybcd, it works great loading osx on my ATA disk (using EFI boot /default).
you can check active partition in windows disk management.
also do some disk verify with your osx installation disk utiltiy.
Are you sure your installation work fine? have you try another boot loader, other than easybcd?
If not, can you try install chameleon bootloader on your usb and set your pc to boot from usb.
Did you install using a distro hackintosh or retail dvd?
