Im building a Hackintosh system for Snow Leopard. I have considered outright just purchasing a mac, but I dont want to pay the apple tax. Im looking for Native snow leopard support for video cards and mother board ect. I just want to install, and have it work out of the box. What hardware do I need or what will work best.

I have a quad core q6600 cpu allready, and am looking for a good video card with around 8 gig of ram for the system. I was hoping to find the actual mother board mac uses with the video card in todays newer systems. Basically build a mac with mac parts

hi i think u better buy new stuff u can build a Pc tower for less than 850€ to have a quad core. u can also have a motherboard with PCI &PCIe for exemple. And then u can use your old mac for internet or ... But before doin that read carefully important link to build your pc following the one u need and most of all for the install following the soft u want to use. If u have a friend abble to help u it s better coz there's nothing complicated but it's time of searching trying...etc Then u may buy a portable pc and install the right operating system.
