What hardware to buy?
Hi there everyone,
I'm new here, so let the trolling begin!!!
Nah, serious. I have a lot of experience building PC's, but the thing is; I bought myself a Macbook Pro a few months ago and I fell in love with Mac OS.
So now I've decided to build a Hackintosh, just for the lolz.
I'm willing to spend around 1200-1400 euro's (that's probably a lot of dollars
).
I would love to go Sandy Bridge, like a 2600k, but something around a i7 950 is just fine too, of course.
I understand a Gigabyte MB is the way to go, or am I talking BS?
And what effin' card should I buy?! Something high-end like a 6970 or 570/580 would be just lovely. Of course I wouldn't mind using the old generation, if it's for the best.
What do you guys think?
I hope you are willing to help me out!
Looking forward to all the comments.

Ok, just to have an idea what I think would be AWESOME, I made a little list.
Here goes.
CPU: Intel Core i7 2600k
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB PC3-12800, CAS 9
GPU: MSI 6970 or MSI GTX570 (maybe even a Twin Frozr II)
PSU: Antec Truepower Quattro 1000W
So, what do you guys think? I know Sandy Bridge is a bit hard to get working, and going with the latest gpu hardware probably isn't the best idea either.
But do you think I can pull this off, this will be my first Hackintosh.
Thanks in advance.
