VirtualBox
Im running Kubuntu 10.10 as a host OS and I want to install Snow Leopard as a guest OS in virtualbox. Ive tried several bootloaders from Empire EFI, IBoot and nawcom. From what Ive gathered it seems that my problem is these bootloaders dont have support for my system. I have a MSI 785GM-P45 Motherboard, AMD Athlon II X4 635 CPU and a ATI Radeon HD 5450 gpu. From what Ive read there seems to be a lack of support for newer AMD CPUs. The closest thing Ive came to having anything work so far was an Emprire EFI legacy bootloader, it goes to the Chameleon screen and just stays there.
Am I on the right track with this? And if so is there a solution?
At this point im not interested in a true Dual boot setup. I really just want to mess around with OS X a bit and see if I like it enough to set up a dual boot or maybe eventually buy a mac.
Thanks for helping me out.
