    i7 920 4.2ghz
    creative x-fi titanium
    6gb ocz platinum 1600mhz

    i would like to install osx on this system would you guys mind telling me which distro to use and how to go about installing drivers and what not

    Yes, search with key word such as i7 or X58 (if that is your board chipsets). There should be guides/methods that you could apply to your setup.
