    Have you manage to install osx on your machine? I have the same machine and specs you have. I also trying to figure how to do it. I hope someone with the same issue would be kind enough to enlighten us.

    regards,

    The Intel GMA4500 might give problems, I am not aware that there is a driver which will enable Quartz for you right away. If you want more info on your setup, you need to be specific, especially in terms of chipset && wlan chipset && sound chipset too.

    Good news guys!

    Finally made it work, after hours of pulling my hair. I just follow this instruction from youtube.

    Part 2: Install Mac OS X on Most Laptops Part 2 - YouTube

    Enjoy!

    This is what I'm actually using while posting this reply right now. I'm really happy about this. BTW, I used "Snow_Leopard_10.6.1-10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard" and still works.

    Wifi and everything works well. Though I'm stuck with 1024x768 resolution, still looking for some way to make it exactly the maximum resolution that Acer Aspire 4736Z have which is 1366x768.

    Hit you back later when something come up about this issue.

    cheers,

    Follow Up:

    Finally made the resolution to 1366x768. What I did was change my root folder (not the user's folder) the to your HDD (or whatever your called it when you install osx86) then check on 'Extra' > com.apple.Boot.plist then change the resolution values like so.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>Kernel</key>
    <string>mach_kernel</string>
    <key>Kernel Flags</key>
    <string></string>
    <key>Timeout</key>
    <string>5</string>
    <key>Graphics Mode</key>
    <string>1366x768x32</string>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    Just change 1366x768x32 to your desired resolution or the maximum supported resolution of your laptop, in my case it's 1366x768. You might also want to check on the other file in 'Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration' and look for com.apple.Boot.plist, and add do the same as instructed above.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>Kernel</key>
    <string>mach_kernel</string>
    <key>Kernel Flags</key>
    <string></string>
    <key>Graphics Mode</key>
    <string>1366x768x32</string>
    </dict>
    </plist>

    Just change the resolution value. Hope this will help you sychishty as it has helped me (a lot).

    P.S. I'll also found out that my LAN is not working and only the WIFI is active as of the moment. Will be sharing something once I get to find/solve this issue. Hit you back later.

    cheers,

    Haven't had a change to fix this problem lately since I was busy with something (Day Job). I just wanna share some screenshots about my installation. Feel free to check it out.
