Unbelievable and frustrating...
Hardware: Asus P5B, 4GB DDR2, Dual Core 3Ghz.
On this PC I had installed Leopard and everything worked very well for about 8 months. Suddenly I had a boot problem that seemed to be generated by W7 (ran W7 and OsX on two different drives switchable setting from BIOS).
So I decided to install everything and why not to start with SL. I have tried with some distro made by Hazard and then I tried with my old iDeneb 10.5.4 and all gives me:
"system config file ' com.apple.boot.plist' not found" before booting and getting into language settings and so on.
I pulled the drive out and connected to a real mac and formatted for MAC, GUID and still the same message. And this damned puter worked fine.
Any advice please?

It seems that this forum got forgotten by the pros... I noticed the tons of messages with no reply or any kind of help whatsoever.

Yap, it's just us now..
btw, the "system config file ' com.apple.boot.plist' not found" message mean that the booter cant find the boot config file which is com.apple.boot.plist
file. You can just make one and put it in Extra folder...
either way,the

is the winner..
