Default Unable to install OS-X Snow Leopard v10.6.3 on HP pavilion dv6500

I have used EFI Empire, and then I put the operating system cd...
It seems that everything is going to be fine but then I got the message:
    "Still waiting for root device"

I tried to change any BIOS setting seemed relevant, but it did not help
I also tried on another computer, but still same error

    Help!

For the error, find out what chipsets you have, along with CPU/video, your DVD/HDD types, and if your BIOS has option for SATA to AHCI.

There is not option to change Sata To AHCI
But I've seen computers identical to mine on YouTube ...
And people were able to install OSX on the same computer as mine
    How did they do that?

There is really no point for me to watch that video other than wasting my time, and does it offer you any help/solution to your problem?
You could better post your system specs, as per my post earlier, so others can further assist you.

Your boot CD may not have the correct kexts/drivers for your hardware configuration.
You can either modify/use other boot CD, or go with distro releases.
