    hahaha soooo true!:p
    here's the list:

    default options +:
    -chameleon RC5

    boot options:
    -Ethernet

    patches:
    -default + qoopz 10.3.0 kernel
    and uncheck EvOreboot

    Drivers:
sound:VoodooHDA(or you can install an updated version, but not 2.7.2 cuz it panics at random.)
    PS2: Apple PS/2
CPU Pw Mgmt: EvO Speedstep(just for backup purposes, cuz i can't find it anywhere on internet, and then i'll switch to voodooPower)
    Laptop Hardware: ALL
NTFS 3G: ALL(i couldn't find a better alternative after all)

    and click continue

ok i just installed the kext for atheros, then reboot ...

I receive double panic error i don't know if it's the kext causing this !!
I used kext helper to install it.

I try a new attempt with your new options.

i have bad experience with kext helper, so i use kext utility
(yeah you have to drag them one by one, but it works)

    edit:
okay, i just searched a bit on google, and it looks like you don't have the same wireless card, but it is(atleast that's what they say)
yours is an AzureWave same chip, different name.
so i dunno what was the cause of the panic.
if you could check the system profiler utility in the setup of iatkos, and check what wireless card you have, we can be sure.
cuz the Atheros AR9285(AzureWave AR5891) is finally supported in 10.6.5 so maybe all we need is to update(that is, if you have the same card)
but i'm waiting with updating till i get every basic thing working, and as that will be soon, i'm hoping this will be the last reinstall caused by a kernel panic

then i don't see why you got a panic from the kext. as i never did.
did you repair permissions and all?
what more did you install after your first boot?
i suggest you try to install the kext again, but this time with kext utility, as i only used kext helper once, and i got a panic.. xD so i don't know if that can be the cause, it looks kinda like a coincindence

btw, is your touchpad working now you have selected apple PS/2?
