First of all : Sorry for my english, i'm french.

My problem is :
I've always seen in all tutorials i found that a working mac system is needed to prepare a usb thumb to install SL.
Sorry i don't have a mac (fell free to whine about me...)
That's why i want to try SL on my pc.

So my question is :
Is there a way to install SL on my pc without having a mac system ? (or what is the best way to)

Second question :
Can my setup run SL whithout flaw ?
I run i5 750 on P55A-UD4 (wich i think is good for SL) with 4GB ram and 500GB WD hdd with HD5850.

Hi,
It's only needed for easier manipulation to install Retail DVD. You can use a good SL distro DVD to install it to your pc.

Hi,
There are some options for you:

1. Using existing Leopard to install Retail SL DVD. Can't do because you don't have one.

2. Using distro releases, currently there are SnowOSX Universal v3.6, Hazard 10.6.1-2 and Hazard Client server. You will need to try to see which would work on your system.

3. Finding a tutorial specifically to your motherboard with all the necessary files/drivers and premade boot system to install retail DVD.

Hope this helps. I learned some french long time ago, but now it's all gone. Maybe I should restudy it again.
