So close yet so far!
Hi guys,
I'm trying to install Snow Leopard on my Dell D610 using this tutorial.
I ended up finding my way here, I can boot into my USB drive perfectly, I get the apple logo and then some text where it says:
Unsupported CPU: family = 0×6, model = 0×17 ….
I get asked to turn off my machine and restart, this is where it gets stuck in a loop. I think its a BIOS setting but the Dell BIOS is strange and doesn't seem to have many of the settings of a normal PC BIOS (Like Phoenix etc).
What do I do and how do I get round it?!
Cheers.

Wonder if you're really reading and following the guide step by step?
Have you ever noticed that it is for EP45-UD3P? And your hardware is??? The same chipsets/BIOS/firmwares???
