SnowOSXUniFlash1.0 keeps rebooting
Hi,
I want to install SnowOSXUniFlash1.0 on my PC.
The steps i've done are as follows:
- I did the CPU test and checked the graphic card type, everything seems to be all right there.
- I burnt the .img file onto a USB stick in Device mode and checked the volume name and it's ok as well (i checked it using Windows HFS+ Explorer).
- The PC boots on the flash disk, then I get something similar to the following:
Darwin/x86 v5.0.132 Chameleon V2.0
Build 2009-08
VESA V3.0 16MB
Darwin 10.5
Load Drivers
Loaded
HFS+ file System/Library/Extensions.mkext - 4096 from 433fcc0
a few more lines actually ...
then it jumps a couple of lines and reboots, too quickly for me to be able to read anything except maybe efi_injected ...
How can I get past this reboot screen?
Sorry I looked on YouTube and some articles about building a Hackint0sh hardware, I could not find out how to go past the reboot issue.
One thing i read should be done but could not do is to configure the hard disk to AHCI or something similar in the BIOS. I went through the BIOS screens one by one and could not find anything related to that.
Any help much appreciated

Are you attemping a vanilla install or with some distro img? It's possible the vanilla way does not work for you as your box does not met the requirements.

Hi,
The img i am using has an MD5 of 089fa89471a812c7d7f736968713dc33
filesize: 6,297,480kB on NTFS hard disk.
I don't know if it's vanilla or not.
My PC has:
RAM: 3GB DDR2
Processor: Intel Pentium D 820 2.8GHz - Cores:2, MMX, SSE (1, 2, 3), EM64T
Main Board: Gigabyte Technology 8I945G Intel chipset i945P/PL/G/GZ
Graphics: ATi Radeon X700 256MB
Would you know if the image would work on this hardware, or what image would and if you have a link for it please?
