Seems like I can't install SL at all on my PC.

Now I'm running iatkos v7 10.5.6 and i then tried this guide: http://prasys.co.cc/2009/09/install-...-the-easy-way/

The USB booted OK, and then the first screen appeared, og the Snow Leopard and 'greatest OS of all time' or something. Then I got the 'no smoking' looking sign.

    Dunno whats the problem...

    Ok
for sound, use the VoodooHDA64bit.kext on my first post
And for wifi hmmm i use a pci card because it has native airport compatibility.
an asus thing cant remember the name, was very cheap and works perfectly.

so i don't know about wifi sorry
although your card is called a RTL8187_Wireless so if you can try and find SL drivers for it.

    Default Info

For those who are getting error with Empire EFI , I suggest to use Rebel efi ONLY FOR INSTALL SNOW LEOPARD , then use the content inside the post install folder you get from Empire Efi to finish your installation.

With P5W DH Deluxe , I can get sound (thanks MB94) , dual lan works out of the box.
I suggest to use Sapphire ATI 4850 because works with graphics drivers for Leopard.
Firewire does not work , and USB needs kext (see what suggested by MB94) to work at the correct speed ratio.

USB, sound and wireless is finally up and running! Beautiful Thanks for the help guys.

BUT: my wireless drops out very often, and i need to reboot to get back online. I used the kext on kexts.com for the Asus p5k motherboard, which has the same wireless card.

And how is the procedure for updating to 10.6.2? Is it even possible?
